love your site. I am getting a kick out of going back through every post and reliving all my experiences with my 75 550. I just got a good laugh from the "what is this-where does it go" exhaust bracket. I didn't know either. Put the exact same Mac on. looked good. sounded good. went for a ride. Noticed several people looking at me more than normal- my bike gets more looks than the local high $ choppers. some were even pointing. I was also hearing a strange sound, but couldn't pinpoint it. When I got home I finally notice the notch worn into my center stand from riding up against the chain. -figured out what the bracket was for! those 550's have tough chains! lol. again, great work on the bike and look your site/blog.
