Behold! Uni Air Filters in all their spongy chrome(y) goodness

I put these on two weeks ago but didn’t think the installation warranted a post. However, it is nice to see how well they fit and how great they look on the carbs.

A perfect fit. They are a bit spongy so I’m sure they would accommodate in size for all sorts of frames.

Nice. I have never seen Uni filters, only heard about them. Are the elements washable or do you have to replace the foam when they are dirty?

do you need to adjust your idle to the filters? these look cool, im think about gettin’ some, or some k&n pod filters.

I don’t think you need to adjust anything if you are just replacing the filters. These UNIs are less restrictive than the stock paper air filter and box so technically if they are letting in more air, you need to rejet to let in more fuel to balance the air/fuel mixture. I have placed pods on a two cylinder CB without having to rejet, my buddy just put on pods on his 400 without having to rejet, so give it a shot and see what happens. Good Luck!!!!
